What is Gaurdius?
Gaurdius is an online platform that helps Clients find and connect with independent Suppliers of close protection and related security services.
Does Gaurdius provide bodyguards or close protection services itself?
No. Gaurdius provides the platform only. The services are offered and delivered by independent Suppliers.
Who do I contract with if I make a booking as a Client ?
You Book the service of your Choice after Signing up to the platform and verifying your account, then contract and communicate directly with the Supplier you choose through encrypted emails.The Supplier is responsible for the service, pricing, cancellation terms, and delivery.
How are Suppliers onboarded?
Gaurdius will ask Suppliers for business details, identity information, licence information, insurance details, and other onboarding information before the Supplier goes live, after signing up please verify and Access your account and from the drop list that shows when you click on your profile icon go to items ,you shall see the rest of documents you should submit. After submission your account will be pending ,once our Admin approves your account you can start building your catalogs (services) from My Items then Create new items,please note that the prices you include are per day. Once the new Catalog item is submitted the admins will review it and will approve it. That's where your Catalog starts going Live and you start receiving Bookings. Any checks are risk-based for platform access and do not amount to a guarantee or endorsement.
Premium and Regular Subscriptions For Suppliers
Regular Subscription allows the Supplier to Have 2 Active Bookings and 2 Active Catalogs which means if the supplier has 2 Bookings that are not completed yet the supplier can't receive the third booking unti one booking is completed, same with catalogs the supplier can't list a third catalog till one of the catalogs is taken down. With the Premium Subscription the supplier will have no limits to the amount of bookings he can receive as well as the amount of catalogs the supplier can create.
How does the booking process work for Clients?
You choose the services that matches your requirements and you book it with the platform through Stripe. The Supplier then receives the booking and starts engaging with the client to provide a contract by email. Emails both sides are encrypted. Client and supplier can both view their bookings, bookings history and keep track on their transactions and communication.
Who handles cancellations, complaints, and refunds?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance by both Clients and Suppliers. Where needed, Gaurdius will assist Clients by sourcing a suitable replacement Supplier. For complaints and refund requests, Gaurdius Admin reviews each case by assessing the relevant evidence and facilitates a fair resolution, including refunds where appropriate for the Client.
How are payments handled?
Through Stripe. Gaurdius will charge the Supplier a commission of 1.5 % for Suppliers both sole traders and companies with Premium subscription and 3% for Supplier both sole traders and companies with the regular Subscription,alongside other platform fee such as VAT, for Suppliers that have VAT please note that VAT will be added to the final Checkout so your prices must be without VAT.
Is Gaurdius an emergency service?
No. Gaurdius is not an emergency or dispatch service. If there is an immediate threat or emergency, call 999.
